Full Job Description

I am a 37 year old women living in Pentre. I have arthrogryposis multiplex congenital (AMC) due to this it means I struggle with my body movement. I need 2 PAs who can help me with my day to day activities such as help washing my hair, prepare food, getting changed and unchanged also to assist me with daily household chores. I enjoy activities such as going to the café and socialising. Sometimes I may be in too much pain to function, so would like someone who understands this and has good initiative to work on their own., To support me in my home to help me remain as independent as possible., 9 hours in total per week over 7 days, to be worked in conjunction with my current PA, General house hold chores such as washing, cleaning, taking out bins etc.
Support with independent living
Prepare food
Assist with showering
Support required to get ready for bed and to support me to remain safe when using my stair lift and when I am upstairs to get ready for bed.
Support me to maintain my home environment and to prepare food and hot drinks.

ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay given. The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
