Open only to applicants from Hampshire & Isle of Wight NHS system, which is limited to; Hampshire IOW Healthcare NHS Trust, Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB, Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, Isle of Wight NHS Trust, University Hospital Southampton Foundation Trust, South Central Ambulance Service or Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust. We have a fantastic opportunity for a customer focused, friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our MPP MSK Business Support Team. As a service we are currently undergoing a lot of exciting change and you will be at the centre of our administrative team collaborating together to implement these. The role will require travel across various sites including Adelaide Health Centre and The Stoneham Centre. We are happy to discuss flexible working options in conjunction with business requirements.Main duties of the job
- Carry out clinical diary management, booking rooms, patient appointments, meetings, and resolving any queries with clinicians.
- Manage appointment bookings, updating electronic record system and sending appointment letters following Trust guidelines and targets.
- Ensure referrals are actioned following the agreed service procedures according to the defined performance targets and timescales.
- Produce letters, emails or memoranda using standardised Trust templates ensuring accurate filing, recording and distribution.
- Produce accurate minutes and full administration support for a range of meetings and investigations to include agenda preparation and follow up of appropriate actions.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, telephone, or written messages, distributing appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Liaising by telephone or in person with clients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals in a positive, friendly, calm and sympathetic manner, using good judgement to identify requirements in order to pass on information correctly or take appropriate action. This may include dealing with complex information or where there is barriers to understanding.
- Provide administrative support to the Business Support Supervisor to set up and review administration systems and processes as deemed appropriate.
- Use and accurately populate the electronic record system (Systm One) with information to include referrals, scanning and uploading information from other services in a timely manner.

£24,071 to £25,674 a year Please note for part time hours the salary will be pro rata.
