Full Job Description

You will be part of a small but dedicated team, delivering high quality MR imaging within a DGH and also within a new Community Diagnostic Centre. There will be a large amount of stress and non-stress cardiac MRI as well as a mixture of out patient work.

This is a small, friendly, busy but dedicated team, and they need someone who is a team player, and able to take the department forward as the Trust develops its MRI scanning services. A flexible approach to the working day is essential. The successful candidate will be a State Registered Radiographer with MR experience, or a band 5 radiographer with a special interest.

The United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the largest Trusts in the country, providing acute services across the county of Lincolnshire., We are seeking a dynamic MRI radiographer to join the dedicated team in the MRI department at Grantham & District Hospital and the nearby Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC1) on Gonerby Road, Grantham. This is a rotational post between the two sites. Grantham & District MRI performs over 1800 cardiac MRI studies every year, so cardiac MRI experience is preferred but not essential. Candiateds will need to be able to travel between sites., Pilgrim Hospital is situated beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.

Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.

Lincoln Hospital is a thriving university city and with the opening of the medical school, it provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been granted teaching hospital status, after demonstrating evidence to significant teaching commitment. From now on it will be known as United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire.
