MRI Radiographer FlexiBank

Reporting to Diagnostic & Imaging Manager in the identification, review and management of the service in line with changes in clinical practice, SCOR &/or HCPC standards, regulatory authority requirements including CQC, insurance companies and company policies and procedures., o To undertake a wide variety of MRI scans using our GE Signa Voyager 1.5 Tesla scanner.
o To abide by departmental protocols and RCR guidelines to ensure a safe environment .
o To partake in administrative duties to enable the smooth running of the department
o To assist with general radiography if required and to ensure compliance with IRMER regulations.
o Deliver a high standard of individualised patient care, being sensitive to patients needs for dignity and privacy
o Ensure that the agreed standards of patient care and confidentiality are maintained in accordance with company policies
o Promote clinical excellence at all times
o Lead the implementation of departmental action plans as a result of clinical audit and review, Be actively involved in development and implementation of clinical governance and risk management plans

- Optimise patient outcomes with available resources whilst complying with regulatory and statutory requirements

- Where required develop and implement action plans as a result of clinical audit and reviews

- Proactively supportive of health, safety and wellbeing of team members and treat employees fairly, equitably and with respect

- Ensure training needs are identified and training plans in place to meet individual, professional and organisational needs and that education and professional development activities are aligned with strategic direction and requirements of the hospital

One Hatfield Hospital has a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, dynamic and experienced MRI Radiographer FlexiBank to join our friendly team on a Bank., Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment and independently as required

- Demonstrable knowledge and skills in the area of clinical practice

- Experience of working in an imaging department with the opportunity to consolidate skills

- Promote clinical excellence at all times, Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business

- Demonstrated Customer Service skills

- Sound computer skills using MS Office Suite and web based reporting systems PACS/RIS

- Sound written numerical and verbal communication skills
