MRI Senior Radiographer

As a dedicated Radiographer who enjoys a busy, ever changing work environment we need you to join our growing team at our Practice Plus Group mobile unit in Southampton. The Practice Plus Group Mobile unit, is a modern, high quality Diagnostic facility that operates in partnership with the NHS, providing a range of high quality, innovative clinical services. The shift pattern reflects the needs of the business and will be flexible as required to manage the demand. A standard week would be working 4 days on a 9.5hr day after breaks., Within this job you will be responsible for:

• Managing examination workload effectively to produce a high quality and safe level of care for all patients
• Undertaking a broad range of radiographic techniques and adapting to the requirements of all patients/examination scenarios
• Taking part in clinical audits, utilising your knowledge of QA, risk assessment, incident reporting and patient experience and engagement
• Safely using MRI / X-ray systems, using Computed Radiography or Direct Digital Radiography.
• The service is open Monday to Saturday and some Sundays and offers a range of diagnostic imaging procedures; X-ray, MRI, Ultrasound and Echocardiograms. We are recruiting both X-ray and MRI radiographers to join our service.
  
  Hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or DCR(R) or equivalent
• Hold a valid HCPC pin number.
• Have a minimum of 3 months post-graduate experience with X-ray and/or MRI Radiography.
