Full Job Description
Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust is looking for an experienced radiographer to fill the role of modality superintendent for the MRI service. Working in partnership with the CT superintendent the post holder will be jointly responsible for operational leadership of the CT and MRI scanning service, function as an expert and professional leader and be responsible for clear and visible managerial, clinical, and strategic leadership of the MRI scanning service. The post holder will use professional discretion and experience to ensure a safe, high-quality MRI scanning service delivery that meets clinical practice, and legal standards and requirements. The post holder will act as a role model for PHU Trust values and provide direction, advice and support to the team and individuals within the CT and MRI service. Develop a culture that improves quality, set clear expectations and support staff in delivering compassionate care. They will create systems to ensure the team remain connected to their own and the organisations core values.
