Full Job Description

  • Demonstrate excellence in Solution Architecture for Microsoft Fabric, including environment sizing, DevOps integration, source control, and passport to production workflows.
  • Establish and manage Centers of Excellence (CoE) for Power BI and Azure Data Factory.
  • Design and implement complex ETL processes and data transformations using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and MS Fabric Data Factory.
  • Provide expertise in Medallion architecture, Lakehouse design, and data modelling strategies with a focus on self-service reporting and efficient ETL processes.
  • Create advanced visualizations and dashboards with proficiency in canned reporting, pixel-perfect reporting, bursting, and flat reporting.
  • Lead efforts in decommissioning Cognos semantic models and reports, utilizing accelerators and automation to handle large-scale decommissioning.
  • Drive the decommissioning of Tableau reports using automation and best practices for handling large-scale report transitions.
  • Ensure strong governance and traceability by managing data cataloging, data lineage, and data management using Microsoft Purview.

    Proven track record in solution architecture for Microsoft Fabric.
  • Data and AI solutions partnership with Microsoft or a higher-level certification.
  • Expertise in building and managing CoEs for Power BI and ADF.
  • Strong knowledge of Medallion architecture and Lakehouse methodologies.
  • Experience in designing ETL processes and advanced reporting techniques.
  • Extensive experience in decommissioning Cognos and Tableau reports using automation.
  • Proficiency in data governance with tools like Microsoft Purview.
