This role will take responsibility for leading a technical team with the wider MSAT team of technologists responsible for supporting the Orals Value Stream through resolution of day-to-day technical issues, investigation of plant investigations / customer complaints, implementation of projects in line with the site's breakthrough objectives.,
- Identify opportunities to improve the Worthing Orals Business through robust problem-solving and continuous improvement, ensuring delivery of corrective actions, preventative actions, and minor projects against measurable targets.
- Lead the team to ensure robust delivery of day-to-day support for end-to-end site operations and systems, addressing issues with appropriate urgency and managing conflicting priorities to support order fulfilment.
- Provide troubleshooting support for production processes and equipment, supporting process and technical investigations, and developing effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Manage talent, capability, and development of the team to ensure it possesses the necessary skills to support business needs.
- Ensure process support activities are planned, resourced, and completed on time to maintain control of local KPIs, highlighting risks and removing roadblocks where possible. Enhance site capability through cross-functional coaching, training, and personal engagement.

- Degree level qualification (or strong equivalent experience) in an appropriate discipline.
- Strong ability to manage and influence stakeholder at site and the wider business.
- Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated Project Management skills and experience, particularly on major technical and/or capital projects.
- Thorough knowledge of GMP and Regulatory requirements.
- Ability to use and interpret data to drive decision making at tactical level.
- Proven capabilities in enabling and driving change, delivering solutions, developing people, and building relationships across multiple interfaces and in a matrix environment. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Thorough operational knowledge of manufacturing unit operations and plant/laboratory equipment.
- Experience in Operational Excellence tools, and use of process performance metric.
- Ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels of the organisation.
