Full Job Description

MSK Physiotherapy assistants are a vital part of the team helping to support qualified staff with a clinical caseload, and in the administrative running of the department., Provide rehabilitation to patients in 1:1 or group settings by implementing treatment programmes and rehabilitation protocols devised by Therapists across a variety of settings including: outpatient department, gym and hydrotherapy as needed.

Assist in the day to day delivery and organisation of the service through direct and non-direct patient duties to ensure priorities are met. This includes booking appointments, interpreters, assisting in audits and other necessary administrative duties.

Be actively involved in the MSK physiotherapy assistant in-service training programme.

This involves the efficient and effective management of own caseload.

We would welcome candidates who do not hold Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker qualification as this can be offered during employment
