Full Job Description
We are a busy orthopaedic radiology department carrying out all types of general and specialist examinations. All radiographers rotate to general x-ray, fluoroscopy and theatres. This band 6 post will also involve training in DDH ultrasound and specialist research examinations. The band 6 radiographers also take a lead role within designated areas of the department and act as Duty Radiographer. Participation in our on-call rota for evenings and weekends is required., As a senior radiographer, this role involves assisting the department superintendents with the supervision of staff and students, providing training, and you will encourage the highest professional and technical standards in all staff by personal example and constructive supervision.
