Experience and training in therapeutic interventions is desired for this role, however for the right candidate training could be offered.

The role involves seeing young people who present with mental health difficulties; either in crisis, for admission avoidance or to support early discharge from our local inpatient ChYPMHS service. You will work autonomously within a full MDT and the right candidate will be able to work well under pressure and in the face of emotional situations. The candidate will also be supported through MDT meetings, handovers and supervisions.

The team cover the whole of Kent and Medway, alongside our inpatient ChYPMHS unit. The job includes remote working but also being present in one of our sites for collaborative working with other professionals. All equipment will be provided to support staff in working in an agile and flexible way.

The team operate 7 days a week, covering long days, earlies and lates. There is opportunity to discuss flexible working options with the right candidate.
