Full Job Description

This position provides the opportunity to work within a supportive and welcoming team, and to further develop your administrative knowledge and skills. Attention to detail, and good organisational and communication skills are key components to the role. The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination and organisation of the multi-disciplinary team meetings, using Teams facilities. They will attend these meetings obtaining and recording relevant information. The post holder collect, record and report cancer information as required in order to meet both national and local requirements playing an integral part in the monitoring and delivery of cancer waiting times standards and robust submission of complex data to national clinical audit and datasets. The post holder will enjoy working closely with the clinicians, clinical nurse specialists, secretaries and patient access teams and will be able to use your initiative in order to ensure the smooth and effective running of multi-disciplinary team meetings. The post holder will be expected to provide cover for your colleagues from time to time.Main duties of the job Tracking of patient's on the suspected and confirmed cancer patient list Co-ordination and organisation of the multi-disciplinary team meetings, using video conference facilities. The post holder will attend these meetings obtaining and recording relevant information. The post holder will collect, record and report cancer information as required in order to meet both national and local requirements playing an integral part in the monitoring and delivery of cancer waiting times standards and robust submission of complex data to national clinical audit and datasets.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
