Multi-Skilled Engineer

We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to work within the Wedgwood factory located at Barlaston, Stoke-on-Trent., Reporting to the Engineering & Facilities Manager, the Multi-Skilled Engineer will be responsible for providing support throughout the manufacturing process and Barlaston facility. This will include the installation and maintenance of plant machinery with focus on mechanical/electrical disciplines whilst adhering to all Health and Safety principles.

have previous experience of working within a mechanical engineering environment
- have good diagnostic skills
- possess an understanding of electrical work to a level equivalent to that contained within the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- be knowledgeable of and understand general Health & Safety regulations - this is essential
- be approachable and friendly with a 'can-do' attitude
- have the ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team, as well as being able to work on your own

This is a permanent, full time role working 40 hours a week, comprising five 8 hour shifts, working alternate weeks of days and nights.
