Multi Skilled Engineer (Carpenter or Plumber)

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you'll deliver top-notch repairs and maintenance services to our properties. Whether working individually or as part of a dynamic team, you'll handle a diverse range of building maintenance tasks. Your primary focus will be on our reactive maintenance team carrying our day to day repairs for our tenanted properties. Occasionally, you may lend your expertise to other areas of the business, such as voids or planned maintenance.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our Pobl Trades Team in Cwmbran on a full-time, permanent basis. We're looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our Reactive Repairs team, making a real difference in the community. If you're passionate about hands-on work and want to be part of something meaningful, we'd love to hear from you! Ideally, you'll bring experience in carpentry or plumbing as your core trade. If you have skills in both-and additionally in floor laying-it's a great bonus! But don't worry if you don't cover all trades, we still want to hear from you.,

• Proven Expertise: Showcase your carpentry/ or plumbing skills with experience in both domestic and commercial settings. As this is a Multi Skilled role we require you to have a secondary skill in a trade related field.
• Qualifications: Provide evidence of relevant qualifications and experience to excel in your role.
• Effective Communication: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, essential for interacting with customers and colleagues alike.
• Safety Awareness: Maintain a keen awareness of health and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
• Initiative and Positivity: Show initiative and maintain a positive outlook, contributing to our positive, connected, and considerate workplace culture.
• Tech: You will be required to utilise an electronic handheld device, alongside some admin responsibilities for the role too.

• The salary for this role is £31,781 for a 40 hour full time permanent position
• Base is Cwmbran, however you will cover the vibrant areas of South East Wales
• Work Van and fuel card
• 26 days holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays , rising to 30 days with length of service
• Working days are predominately Monday to Friday days. 8am- 1630
• It is essential for the successful candidate to have a full drivers licence
• The successful candidate will need a basic DBS check in place, which we pay for.
