Full Job Description
- Carry out PPM, Reactive Maintenance, and extra works requirements in accordance with set schedules.
- Carry out minor plumbing tasks, when required
- Ensure standards are maintained to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the site systems.
- Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
- Fault finding and remedial works as required
- Weekly and periodic inspections as per H&S Inspection matrix
- Assist with other PPM/extra works related tasks
- Attend weekly site meetings and toolbox talks.
- To provide reports in relation to work and equipment as required.
- Work a split shift system.
- Escort and supervise sub-contractors on site
18th Edition Regulations Certificate - Multiple installation experience - FP200 / SWA (installation and termination) / cable tray / ladder rack
- Emergency Lighting - functional testing and repair
- Minimum of City & Guilds Craft Qualification Certificate (electrical / mechanical) and demonstrable experience in a trade discipline
- Problem solving ability in response to technical issues, fault diagnosis and solution finding
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to all levels within Sodexo
- Numerate and computer literate
- Strong sense of client focus
- The ability to listen to others understand and interpret their views
- Personal presentation must be of a high professional standard
- Prioritizing own workload and working under own initiative with minimal supervision
- Good organizational skills with the ability to organize others
- Testing and inspection - Certificate 2391
- PASMA/ IPAF
- Water L8 compliance
- Have held an Authorised Person (Trade Discipline Specific) Good health & safety knowledge and experience.
- Proven background in electrical engineering discipline.
- City and Guilds or equivalent in Building Services or Electrical Engineering.
