Full Job Description
We currently have an opportunity at our manufacturing site in Pirbright for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our diverse maintenance team. You will be responsible for implementing corrective & preventive maintenance of all mechanical/electrical assets on site by covering a vast catalogue of both utility and pharmaceutical production equipment.,
- Effective fault finding and problem solving on mechanical/electrical systems to minimise business impact
- Implements installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical/electrical equipment
- To ensure adherence with all site specific, H&S, Biosafety and GMP procedures
- To identify and implement improvements in mechanical/electrical standards and efficiencies on the site following site procedures
- To work as part of the maintenance team to maintain the site to a safe and reliable standard, sharing skill and expertise with team members to ensure an efficient and effective maintenance service
- Manages multiple maintenance issues on a daily basis, requiring the application of expertise and prioritisation based on risk/business impact and understanding of processes
Deep knowledge and experience of mechanical/electrical equipment (installation and fault finding) - Ability to make risk assessments
- Recognised training to City & Guilds standard (Mechanical)
- Good working knowledge of plant steam system
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
- Flexible and able to work on a 24/7 on call rota (approx. 1 in 9 weeks)
- Own transport required for call outs
