Full Job Description

Maintenance Engineer required in Ellesmere Port - Up to £49,258.82 Per Year, Our client, a pioneering leader in their industry are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team at their recycling site in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.
You role will be to maintain and repair a wide range of industrial recycled glass processing equipment, including:

- Conveyors
- Electronic Control Panels
- Power Transmission Equipment (Motors, gearboxes, bearings)
- Vibratory Screeners and Vibratory Feeders
- Air Density Separators
- Eddy Current Separators
- Drying Equipment
- Feed Hoppers
- Automatic Optical Sorting Equipment

Training will be given as necessary
Main duties & Responsibilities

- General maintenance duties, both proactive and reactive.
- Complete set work and preventative maintenance routines as required.
- Carry out process improvements works.
- Welding, both stick and MIG.
- Follow Health and Safety & Company procedures and systems.
- Assist other departments with technical support as and when required.
- Ensure all plant repairs are carried out in a safe and timely manner.
- Carry out all shift check sheets as requested

Minimum of 5 years' experience of plant fitting and maintenance.
- Good Multi-skilled knowledge range (Electrical & Mechanical)
- High standard of design and fabrication skills
- Must have or be willing to receive training to operate Telehandler and MEWP equipment
- Good written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
- Good knowledge of industrial glass processing equipment
- Strong understanding of Engineering drawings and able to fabricate from such
- Work using own initiative and work as part of a team.
- Be fully flexible to work with production to ensure site efficiency's are maintained.

During initial training you will work Monday to Friday working 8am until 4.30pm before moving to 12 hours 4 on 4 off shift cycle
Cycle is 4 x Days (6am until 6pm, 4 x Days Off, 4 x Nights (6pm until 6am), 4 x Days off.

The rate of pay starts at £20.00 per hour during initial training on days. Upon moving to shifts you will earn £947 per week plus overtime!

This is a Temporary to Permanent position
