Multi-Skilled Operative

Due to growth, we are now seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative to join a new business ("Inspired Works") which will deliver high quality property maintenance services to ensure all our villages including apartments and cottages are beautifully presented for the residents. After six years of phenomenal growth and numerous awards, we are backed by a joint venture partnership between Legal & General PLC and NatWest Group Pension Trustee Limited. We are on course to significantly transform the later life experience in the UK with a commitment to expand our portfolio to 34 retirement villages, which equates to around 5,000 age-appropriate homes for retirees. • Assisting in the maintenance work across the Inspired Villages portfolio to maintain and prolong the life of the estate
• Enhancing the visual appeal of interior and exterior spaces across the Inspired Villages portfolio
• Carrying out works within an occupied village setting both internal and external
• Framing, door and window installation, woodwork repairs and replacements, kitchen installation and repairs
• Installing and maintaining plumbing installations
• Ceramic wall and floor tilling, plaster repair, and minor decoration works
• Applying paint, varnish, stains, and other coatings to interior and exterior surfaces
• Using of brushes, rollers or spray application to achieve constant coverage ensuring correct application of primers/undercoats
• Aligning wallpaper to create a visually appealing finish
• Applying protective coatings to surfaces to guard against, moisture, corrosion or wear and tear
  
  Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Operative with at least 2 years experience
• Proficient in problem-solving and assessing work requirements
• A strong background in property maintenance and a variety of trades
• While formal qualifications are advantageous, we prioritise your skills and experience
• Full driving license
  
  £31,000 to £40,000 per annum
• 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
