Full Job Description

As a Multi-skilled operative you will carry out day to day tasks requested by the Helpdesk / Soft Service Manager and take responsibility to check for any new requests, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures. Duties will include but not limited to :

  • Perform regular grounds maintenance duties at County Hall including pruning / weeding pathway clearing.
  • Reporting faulty machinery and any necessary Health & Safety hazards to the soft service manager.
  • Assist with minor repair tasks i.e. : soap dispensers, toilet roll holders, pod wipe dispensers and hand gel dispensers.
  • Removal of external and internal waste
  • Assist with removals and furniture relocation when requested by the client
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned vehicle and regular safety check
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties that may be requested by Norse management / Clients

    Ability to undertake a range of manual activities
  • Able to work in an organised and methodical manner with minimal instruction
  • Competent working alone as well as part of a team
  • Ability to follow Health and Safety instructions
  • Good communication & customer service skills
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Willingness to undertake mandatory training relevant to the position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our experienced team at County Hall, supporting with the day-to-day maintenance and delivery of services across the designated areas.
