Dalkia UK have a great opportunity for a permanent Multi Skilled Shift Maintenance Technician (with good Electrical knowledge) to join our busy motor sport client based in Woking. You will be part of a cohesive working team which aim to provide a high level of service to the client. You will be working 40 hours a week and covering a variety of shift patterns., · To carry out PPM's and Reactive tasks in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Plant and associated Mechanical and Electrical systems. · Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements. · To maintain accurate records/documentation associated with the Mechanical and Electrical aspects of the PPM and plant. · To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all reactive maintenance issues, and Service desk request's. · To co-ordinate initial actions associated with all requests from the client. · To co-ordinate visiting specialist sub-contractors associated with Mechanical and Electrical aspects of the PPM schedules. · To respond to call outs and cover breakdowns and emergencies associated with the Mechanical and Electrical services aspects of the contract as required. · Fault diagnosis associated with the PPM or Reactive maintenance of the sites. · Assist in the repair and maintenance of Electrical, lighting and distribution systems. · Assist other trades as necessary, and to have the flexibility to work across disciplines when needed. · To provide reports in relation to work and equipment as required. · To undertake miscellaneous duties as requested by the Client. · To work as part of team ensuring efficient and safe completion of tasks. · To have at minimum a basic understanding of the site based systems and how they interact with each other. · To carry out LSP duties in line with L8 and the Dalkia manual when required. · The role will be based at Clients Main Campus (MTC) in Woking, and some travel may be required to various Clients buildings also located in Woking and surrounding areas. You may also be required to travel further on occasions deemed as business critical.

Essential · C&G in a Mechanical discipline or recognised equivalent (ie NVQ). · Have a good Mechanical aptitude with sound Electrical knowledge. · Health and Safety Training including knowledge of Risk Assessments and Method Statements. · Sound understanding of requirements under Health and Safety Legislation. · Experience with similar maintenance duties including fault diagnosis, rectification. · Experience in the Mechanical aspects of general building PPM schedules. · Good knowledge of AHU's, FCU's, AC systems, Pumps, Motors, Pipework, Plumbing and Drainage systems, and a good awareness of Electrical safety and systems. · A good understanding of Critical Systems and Non Critical systems. · Experience and knowledge of CAFM Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) building management systems (Concept) via handheld PDA. · GCSE passes in Maths and English or recognised equivalent Desirable · Knowledge of Boilers and Gas heater operation/fault finding. · Compressed air systems/knowledge. · BMS (Building Management System) knowledge and operation. · Basic Electrical experience and knowledge. · Understanding of COSHH and handling of substances.
