Situated in North Worcestershire, Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council share services. The Councils are committed to being a customer driven organization, with our customers at the heart of everything we do; focused on improving delivery services that make a difference to the community that we serve., We are looking to recruit a Multi skilled carpenter who will be responsible for carrying out carpentry installations and repairs and maintenance to our housing stock across the Borough.of Redditch. Key Requirements
- Carry out carpentry works and repairs and maintenance to residential properties.
- 1st and 2nd fix carpentry works including repair/replacement of components.
- Repair and maintain wooden and UPVC doors and windows and lock changes etc
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain high levels of professionalism at all times
- work on various general maintenance tasks as required
Relevant carpentry qualifications and certification. - Proven experience as a carpenter with a minimum of 2 years experience in the industry
- Strong knowledge of carpentry materials, principles and equipment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Competency or qualified in additional trades such as tiling, floor tiling, plumbing etc.
