Full Job Description

We're looking for a Multimedia Designer to join our inhouse creative team to deliver a broad range of creative outputs. The creative services team are responsible for a range our design outputs across print and digital channels including infographics, video content for social media platforms, the BMA website and digital advertising and marketing. This will focus on both digital and print alongside working on 2D animation and motion design within after effects. The successful candidate will work across a variety of areas including campaign work, social media design, marketing and member communications and brand asset management. This is a part time position for 32hr a week permanent position and will involve a mix of working at home and from BMA House in central London. The non-working day is flexible and can be discussed during the interview stage. As a Multimedia Designer you will:

  • Provide a wide range of conceptual and creative design services for offline and digital channels
  • Work with clients across the BMA to interpret their briefs and produce effective and creative design solutions
  • Assist the Lead Designer in the conception, production and delivery of a range of creative outputs (including animated video content, social graphics and info graphics and print).
  • Have an excellent understanding of brand and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Contribute to the deployment of a new digital asset management system, enabling colleagues and stakeholders throughout the business to access approved brand assets and templates

    Previous industry experience as a Multimedia Designer or equivalent (essential)
  • In-depth technical knowledge of a wide range of industry tools (After effects, Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign) (essential)
  • Experience of producing design work across a range mediums including infographics, social media content and print outputs (essential)
  • Ability to produce high quality work whilst working to tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Good accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good planning and organisational skills
