Full Job Description

You will be required to be flexible, to move across sites according to the department needs and therefore transport will be essential.Full and part time hours will be considered.As a DCHS employee it will be your responsibility to ensure that your behaviour and values reflect those set out in the DCHS Way.

As aPhysiotherapist working within our serviceyou will:

  • Assess, diagnose, advise and treat patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.

  • Be responsible for the management of patients on your caseload.

  • Maintain professional autonomy, being responsible for the management of your own patients whilst working within Trust and National guidelines.

  • You will be a key member of the outpatient physiotherapy team responsible for delivering a high quality physiotherapy service.

    You will have previous experience of working as a physiotherapist, including working in musculoskeletal outpatients.

    Derbyshire Community Health Services has a great opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join our Derbyshire Musculo-skeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy team, based in Belper, Ashbourne and High Peak and Dales.

    We have an established mentorship and in-service training programme, offering CPD time. People joining the Trust would be eligible to join the DCHS preceptorship programme., Our purpose is to provide community health services to a patient population of over one million people in Derbyshire and Derby, as part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire.

    We employ around 4,200 substantive staff, caring for patients in 11 community hospitals and more than 30 health centres, as well as in clinics, GP practices, schools, care homes and, increasingly, in people's own homes and via virtual consultations.
