Full Job Description

I am looking for a Personal Assistant who will support me to maintain my independence. I need someone who will support me in the community, assisting me to access activities and keeping me safe at all times. I also require some minimal supervision when at home if required., Driving me to and supporting me to access different activities which include:
Pottery
Arts and Crafts
Accessible discos
Swimming
Walks
Picnics
Pedal Power
Cinema
Theatre
Day trips
Preparing light meals for me if at home in the evening
Accompanying me to the toilet, although I am able to self-care, I need assistance to ensure I have closed the door., This will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period of six months will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid four-weekly on return of a payslip provided by the Centre for Independent Living. You will receive appropriate holidays and holiday pay. This post is subject to an enhanced police check (DBS) and training may be required if identified by the employer.
