Full Job Description

The candidate should be a motivated self-starter who is willing to work waking nights and undertake relevant training to provide the best support possible. They should be able to work flexible hours that may include evenings and weekends as well., · Assisting with all aspects of everyday living tasks

· Driving the individual's vehicle to various appointments, work and social events

· Supporting the individual at home and at work

· Undertaking occasional travel overnight with the individual for leisure and work purposes

· All expenses for travel will be covered by the employer, Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid four weekly and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).

The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the Uk

We are looking for a self-starter Personal Assistant with a can-do attitude to provide support to an individual with cerebral palsy and other complex health conditions. The ideal candidate should be compassionate, proactive and reliable. They should also possess good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience working with individuals with similar disabilities, which they could have gained through working as a healthcare or classroom assistant in a special needs school., · Experience with sepsis management

RATES OF PAY

meets NMW per hour

£93.78 per night
