MVOG872 Personal Assistant

To provide me with personal care about the house and to help me access the community and ensure my safety when out socially., This will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period of six months will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid four-weekly on return of a payslip provided by the Centre for Independent Living. You will receive appropriate holidays and holiday pay. This post is subject to an enhanced police check (DBS) and training may be required if identified by the employer.

I am a 58 year old man living in the Flemingston area (between Barry and Llantwit major). I have a diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease and this year have been forced to stop working. I worked in the airport and therefore have an interest in aviation. I have also worked on and been around farms all my life so naturally love being outdoors., Someone genuine and caring.
Someone who is compassionate and understanding.
A person who respects the privacy and confidentiality of working in someone else's home.
A reliable and punctual person.
Someone who is alright working in a home with a dog.
Don't necessarily need to be a driver.

Hours are to be worked on negotiation with myself. More hours needed weekdays but some weekend hours as well.

Mainly mornings Monday - Friday.
