Named Professional for Safeguarding Adults

Experience of working within or closely with NHS services is essential alongside being able to demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding adults at risk.

The Named Professional Safeguarding Adults will also be managerially responsible for the Safeguarding Adults Practitioners within wider Think Family Safeguarding Service.

Candidates are required to show evidence of their original certificates for qualifications to the interview panel.

The role will require you to work across all areas in the Trust which includes those that are designated as positive and asymptomatic and negative COVID wards.

This is a full-time permanent post working as within innovative and forward thinking 'Think Family' Safeguarding Service at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHE Foundation Trust.

We are seeking a highly knowledgeable proficient Professional with advanced skills in protecting adults from neglect and abuse. You must have a genuine commitment to safeguarding under a whole family strategy. The Named Professional Safeguarding Adults will provide expert advice, safeguarding supervision, intervention, and direction regarding adults at risk in line with the Trust safeguarding responsibilities under the Care Act (2014), The Mental Capacity Act 2005, and the Trust Think Family Safeguarding Policy.
