Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, passionate and highly motivated Lead adult safeguarding professional to join the team at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). The successful candidate will join a forward thinking skill mix team of experienced safeguarding professionals.
The post holder will also have the responsibility to provide highly visible strong professional leadership to inform the strategic and operational direction of the Safeguarding Adults agenda.
As a tertiary centre, the GOSH safeguarding service works closely with agencies across the country and abroad, as well as with local partner agencies, providing excellent internal and external opportunities for learning, professional development and networking., The post holder will provide and promote an expert leadership role to support GOSH, within the safeguarding adults portfolio in line with corporate responsibility and national guidance and legislation.
The post holder will lead on championing parity of esteem to enhance practice, with Trust colleagues.

The recruitment process for all admin and clerical roles at Bands 2-4 will be a two stage recruitment process whereby shortlisted candidates will undertake an online literacy, numeracy, ICT and typing test. Only those candidates who pass the competency test will proceed to a formal interview.
