Nanny

Busy family of 4 in Balham are seeking a super caring, professional and experienced Nanny to help look after their nearly 2-year old boy and 5-month old girl at the time the Nanny will start. Mum is currently on maternity leave, but will head back to work afterwards. Mum speaks Spanish to the children, so a Spanish speaker would be a bonus.
The family are looking for a good communicator who can prioritise the children and their needs. Encourage eating with the children in the evenings and suggest one evening meal every 1-2 weeks with parents.

- A competent cook who can prepare varied, interesting and nutritious meals for the children.

Duties to include:
- As well as providing for the physical and educational needs of the children, nannies are responsible for all nursery duties.
- This includes cooking, cleaning and laundry for the children within their care.
- The nanny will also be responsible for the children's physical and emotional well-being.
- Cleaning and tidying the nursery, bedroom, playroom and laundering the children's clothes and toys.
- Preparing bottles/nutritious meals, taking the child to playgroups, school, and age-appropriate classes, arranging playdates and organising special occasions.
- Additionally, the nanny will need to take care of all equipment related to the children's care, make sound judgments when purchasing items and provide a detailed list of weekly expenses.
- The family employ a cleaner each week, so there is no need for deep cleaning.

The family are members of the Royal Automobile Club, National Trust and Battersea Park Zoo, where the Nanny can take the children (great for day trips, swimming, outdoors, soft play, playground).

Hours: Monday to Friday: 7am - 7pm, with an early finish on Friday of 5/5.30pm.
Available to babysit 1-2 evenings a week if required.
Occasional international trips with family, likely 1-3 per annum.

Accommodation, large double room with ensuite (walk in shower and separate bath), large double wardrobe, ample storage, mini fridge, kettle, tea/coffee.
