National Account Manager - Remote based - with frequent travel required

As a National Account Manager, you will be accountable for an individual portfolio within Framework and Consortia and full responsible for performance, ensuring that company profitability, customer requirements and individual growth targets are met. You will also work with other departments as required to ensure that budgeted sales targets, account profitability, customer satisfaction and retentions are achieved across your portfolio.

What you will be doing;

  • Fully responsible for profit and loss of a national account portfolio along with developing and executing strategic joint business plans with our customers.

  • Owning and delivering against agreed Joint Business plans with Key Customers.

  • Liaise directly with key stakeholders to ensure implementation of account plans.

  • Responsible for price review implementation acting as a consultant and market experts for your customers.

  • Understand competitor activity & proposals, ensuring you are always offering your customers the best local and national solutions.

  • Comprehensive record keeping via Salesforce.

    Good commercial acumen with the ability to deal with numbers.

  • Demonstrable experience of delivering against targets.

  • You will also have a genuine interest in the hospitality industry and ideally hold some experience of working within national frameworks agreements, Supply chain, contract caterers, pubs and restaurants.

  • Proven ability to build strong long-lasting relationships.

  • First rate communication and presentation skills both verbal and written.

  • Strong IT skills - PowerPoint and Excel.
