Full Job Description

A purpose designed 2 year role, specifically developed to progress into long term employment within Veolia Commercial. The individual will experience key areas across the commercial sector, developing the basic waste management & business knowledge surrounding Veolia values & processes through the local and regional teams.
A core understanding of National account customers, account management processes and procedures, as well as supporting large tender opportunities will be achieved whilst promoting up & cross selling as well as waste efficiencies to new & existing customers.
The National Account Graduate will embody a customer approach embracing the role of ambassador for the Veolia brand and purpose. They will support the contractual renewal targets, with a innovative and customer focused mindset; driving best in class standards that deliver customer loyalty, retention and high Net Promoter Scores across the different customer segments, directly influencing innovative ecological sustainability opportunities, with a strategic approach to solutions and customer relationships with large and complex clients.
What you'll be doing;
- Develop & maintain strong internal business relationships with Customer Experience, Sales & Operations Teams with a focus on customer service & business growth
- Support & gain understanding of the local sales process
- Shadow, National account executives and Strategic account managers to understand their roles and their purpose
- Shadowing the Implementation & management of operations against Veolia Minimum Requirements
- Develop wider Veolia knowledge & identify key contacts through internal networking & placements
- Regional Account Innovation & project management support to our National commercial accounts
- Serving business interests by focusing on successful customer retention and growth in line with business strategy and governance processes

Degree level qualification in a relevant Business Management, Accounting or Environmental (to be achieved by September 2025).
- Practical outlook to problem solving
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new things and develop
- An enthusiastic, creative and solution-oriented thinker
- Drivers Licence (willingness to get one)
- Willingness to travel if they will be required to travel
