Calor is seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Business Acquisition Manager to drive commercial success within our Cylinder business. In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead volume and margin growth by acquiring large resellers and contracting them to Calor. This could involve competitor acquisitions, direct supply agreements, or innovative strategies to expand our footprint and increase market share.
You'll lead the entire acquisition lifecycle, from identifying opportunities and negotiating terms to ensuring seamless integration within our business. Collaborating with key internal stakeholders, including the Cylinder Team Managers, Sales Teams, Finance, Marketing, Legal and Operations, you'll align efforts to ensure profitability and retention while building a strong, sustainable portfolio of accounts.
This role provides you with the autonomy to manage your own diary, make strategic decisions, and embrace exciting challenges. With national travel, including occasional overnight stays fully covered by Calor, you'll have the flexibility to choose between a company car for convenience or a cash allowance. In this dynamic position, you'll work directly with business partners and customers to drive impactful business results.

+ Seek out and act on acquisition prospects, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure successful negotiations and contract terms.
+ Oversee the full acquisition process, from identification to integration, managing relationships with competitor resellers and handling negotiations.
+ Work with internal stakeholders including sales, finance, legal, operations, and marketing to ensure a smooth acquisition process and successful customer onboarding.
+ Track and report on the progress of acquisitions and rollovers, focusing on key metrics like volume, margin, and revenue, and providing strategic insights to improve business performance.
+ Collaborate with finance and operations to create investment proposals for acquisitions that involve significant capital, including cylinder purchases and infrastructure improvements.
+ Create tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of resellers and customers while driving growth and profitability.

+ Full UK Driving license.
+ A degree or equivalent is preferred, or relevant work experience in sales and account management.
+ Proven experience in a B2B sales environment, with expertise in negotiating and closing deals. Experience within the LPG or energy sector is highly desirable.
+ Strong account management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
+ Solid financial acumen and experience with financial reporting and budgeting.
+ Ability to lead by example, motivating both internal teams and external stakeholders.
+ Strong communication and influencing skills, able to engage effectively with senior stakeholders, internal teams, and customers.
+ Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office, with the ability to analyse large data sets and generate actionable insights.
Desirable:
+ Previous experience in the LPG or energy sector.
+ A proven track record of acquiring and managing high-value accounts.
+ Experience using SAP S4 HANA or other business intelligence tools.
