Full Job Description
We are embarking on a journey to improve our department and effect change for all our customers. You will be part of a small, dedicated Construction Team contributing to the improvement and development of the NHSBT Estate, delivering quality solutions providing a safe working environment for colleagues. Your work will enable NHSBT to grow and develop the Services they offer by providing suitable facilities to attain strategic objectives. You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external on individual projects using your influencing skills to achieve the desired results. You will be joining friendly, passionate colleagues, rich in their diversity, who are committed to providing excellent care to our service users and their loved ones., In this role you will be responsible for managing the National delivery of identified building projects to deliver Stakeholder satisfaction to time, cost and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the investigation and development of Estates Solutions to support Strategic Objectives.
- Delivering Service excellence by developing and managing specific projects to the highest professional standards, complying with all relevant internal and external standards, regulations, and instructions.
- Liaising and communicating project progress and issues with all project stakeholders from Executive Directors to Contractors, guiding and assisting with securing contractual agreements.
- Developing designs, specifications and managing projects through to commissioning and completion within agreed financial budgets.
- Producing detailed drawings, specifications, tender documents, and complete contract documentation together with NHSBT tendering templates.
- Being a subject matter offer and professional construction or building advice to stakeholders.
