Full Job Description

As NEC ECC Supervisor, you will work collaboratively with the Client, Project Manager and Contractor to ensure the construction activities are delivered to highest quality and safety standards; whilst providing efficient, sustainable, and best value solutions in line with industry best practice and innovation.

Within our Advisory & Programme Delivery (APD) we deliver advisory, project, programme and commercial management services to customers. We operate in Rail, Highways, Aviation and Maritime. Our vision is to deliver major transportation projects as part of a global business and to establish our wide-ranging consultancy as ‘credible’ and ‘preferred’ for our existing and new clients.

Main Duties

Â

  • Have a regular presence on site.

  • Attend progress meetings.

  • Have foresight to enable early identification of potential issues to prevent them from occurring.Â

  • View construction phase documents such as: CPP, RAMS, ITP.

  • Issue a Supervisor report recording the progress of works., Pension matched up to 7%  Â

    A fundamental part of this is respecting each person’s differences and striving to meet their needs., Manage the defect process.

  • Issue the Defects Certificate., Experience in carrying out duties of NEC Supervisor including relevant NEC training.Â

  • Working knowledge of the NEC contract.

  • Proven understanding of CDM and Health and Safety.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Diligent, proactive, and thorough approach to detail.

  • Collaborative and practical approach to problem solving.

  • Experience of design and specifications for transportation projects., NEC4 ECC Supervisor Accreditation.

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

  • Chartered or Incorporated or working towards this status.

  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)Â
