Neighbourhood Assistant

As a Neighbourhood Assistant you will be working in a busy housing team providing a customer focussed, estate-based housing management service, being the eyes and ears on our estates working closely with tenants to ensure they are living in safe, well managed environments. It is the perfect role for a caring, proactive individual with good communication skills. Understanding the variety of housing related issues facing tenants, working with them to find solutions.

English: You will need:

• Experience of working with people in a customer focused environment
• A general knowledge of the role and responsibilities of a social landlord
• An ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a range of people
• A good team player
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• A good negotiator
• Ability to manage small projects
• 5 GCSE's Grade A - C or equivalent to include English and Maths
• A 'can do' attitude providing an excellent customer service
• Enthusiastic and can demonstrate initiative.
• Ability to drive/travel throughout the Vale or between locations as appropriate.
