Full Job Description

The Civil Protection Division was created to respond to events that take place across the borough, with a focus on response and safety, delivered by front line services.

Following a recent restructuring, we are looking for three enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals for the roles of Neighbourhood Patrol Out of Hours Officers within the newly created Neighbourhood Patrol Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the new team from its inception, and to be actively involved in helping to create a high performing service that responds, investigates and helps to resolve antisocial behaviour, environmental waste and statutory nuisance (including noise) complaints.,

  • Knowledge of legislation and enforcement around antisocial behaviour, environmental waste, statutory nuisance
  • Enforcement experience
  • Experience of successful multi-agency working
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Customer focused and driven to provide an excellent service
