We have an opportunity for a Neighbourhood Team Leader to join our in-house housing service (Mid Devon Housing) working across the district based from our Head Office in Tiverton. Our benefits include, As a Neighbourhood Team Leader your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Have a commitment to great customer service delivery
  • Focus on leading a team that delivers our tenancy sustainment/rent arrears and allocations service and supports the wider delivery of our core housing services
  • Achieving high levels of tenant satisfaction and tenancy sustainment
  • To lead, motivate and manage an effective team of Neighbourhood Officers and Allocations Officers
  • Contribute to the achievement of its housing targets and objectives across all service standards and performance indicators
  • Play a key part in taking forward our services and delivering a community focused housing service that puts the tenants at heart of what we do

    Excellent communication and mediation skills are essential
  • An ability to solve problems is also important
  • You must be able to organise your own workload
  • You need experience in housing management or a customer focussed service
  • You must have an understanding of landlord and tenant obligations
  • You will have a clear customer focus and a flexible approach
  • You will have good people skills with a passion for making a difference
