The Royal Alexandra and Albert School exists to give our children a distinctly different start in life, preparing them for the world with hope, optimism, compassion and empathy. We are a co-educational, non-selective state boarding school, for boys and girls aged 7 - 18,. This is a boarding school with Flexi Boarding students attending from the local area and a lively community of around 400 Full Boarders, passionately involved in a wide range of after-school and weekend activities and trips. Our Ofsted inspection of March 2024 states "pupils are happy and well cared for at Royal Alexandra and Albert School. They benefit from positive relationships with staff across the school. Pupils feel safe, confident that if they report any concerns or worries they will be dealt with". We offer:

- Free on-site parking We are looking for a Netball Coach/Umpire to support the delivery of our Netball Programme. As a Netball Coach, you will deliver enthusiastic and inspiring coaching to students of varying abilities. You will need knowledge of both technical and tactical strategies in netball coaching. Previous experience of coaching a range of abilities and ages would be advantageous but not essential. Previous experience of playing netball to a good standard is essential, along with previous experience of group coaching. Netball at the Royal Alexandra and Albert School Netball is the major sport for girls during the Spring Term, with training taking place throughout the Autumn Term as well. The Netball programme caters for pupils who wish to play for both performance and participation and is available to all year groups in the school. There are currently 13 competitive netball teams, and we have three outdoor hard netball, three Astro courts one indoor court in our Sports Hall. We reserve the right to interview and appoint prior to the closing date of the advertisement. The Royal Alexandra and Albert School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post if successful, including an Enhanced DBS check. Staff must be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety regulations, security and confidentiality, reporting all concerns as appropriate.
