Full Job Description

Flint Technology Services is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join one of our clients, based in London. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Cisco WiFi (Wireless LAN Controller), Identity Services Engine (ISE), Firepower Threat Defence (FTD) or ASA Firewalls, and routing/switching. Experience with network automation using Python is highly desirable but not essential. In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation, security, and scalability of our network infrastructure, supporting both existing and future projects.,

  • Manage and optimize Cisco WiFi networks, including Wireless LAN Controllers, to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Administer and configure Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control and security policy management.
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Firewalls, including Firepower Threat Defence (FTD) and Cisco ASA, to ensure network security and integrity.
  • Oversee network routing and switching, ensuring optimal configuration and uptime.
  • Perform regular network maintenance, upgrades, and security audits.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to support network-related projects and infrastructure improvements.
  • Provide support for network automation tasks using Python (desirable but not essential).
  • Monitor network performance, resolve issues, and implement solutions to improve performance and security.

    Proven experience as a Network Administrator with hands-on experience in Cisco WiFi (Wireless LAN Controller), Cisco ISE, Firepower Threat Defence (FTD), ASA Firewalls, and routing/switching.
  • Strong understanding of network security best practices and technologies.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
  • Experience working with enterprise-level network infrastructure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
