Full Job Description
- Work within the network architecture including compliance to protocols, Quality of Service, addressing scheme and cyber security measures
- Support the Network Test & Integration Strategy.
- Agree the Integration, Verification and Validation Methods.
- Satisfy the requirement set through design and development activities. Implement the network architecture in physical form, fit and function
- Understanding and/or experience of Network Test and Acceptance requirements in regulated settings
- Demonstrate compliance to the requirements set through integration, verification and validation activities including production of Test Reports and certificates.
- Carry out network engineering activities in a team/multi-stakeholder/multi-discipline environment.
Experience in LAN/WAN administration - Good all-round technical Networking Knowledge
- Designing IP based Networks. ·
- Network security, using ACLs, State full Firewalls and Stateless Firewalls
- Understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack
- Understanding of the ISO protocol stack
- Understanding of Layer 3 routing protocols including OSPF and Multicast PIM
- Linux experience (command line/scripting)
- General understanding of Engineering Development lifecycles. Security Clearance statement
