Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with experience in working on and with sensitive / protected systems. The candidate will be responsible for interpreting customer requirements, specifying the system solution, planning development and testing, aiding in the planning of transition of service, leading engineering lifecycle reviews and ensuring successful customer acceptance and handover within the timescales agreed with the client. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Audit and take on responsibility for an existing Network Infrastructure.
  • Management of an overall system network design
  • Assessing & evaluating proposals from the workgroups including client meetings.
  • Approving components of the design and impact assessment
  • Approving each stage of the design baseline implementation and transition.
  • Leadership of a multidisciplined engineering team.
  • Managing Quality of design documentation and artefacts
  • Design, Build, Test, and Implement a secure network infrastructure, full management infrastructure, hardware security solution
  • Troubleshoot operational environment issues
  • Designing, building, implementing, and testing network infrastructure and s upport to live critical systems.
  • Design and deployment experience in all aspects of protected system operation
  • Designing, Specifying and engaging with 3rd Party Hardware manufacturers for the procurement of new hardware systems.
  • Experience with CISCO routing and switching equipment's, Virtualised infrastructure, Unified Communications and IP Video Conference systems
