Here at Metroline Manchester we're really excited to be building a brand new team within Service Delivery to manage performance based at the local depot. As a Performance Supervisor you will work closely with the wider Network Performance and Service Delivery team and will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the punctuality, quality, and overall performance of our bus services. You will become a crucial part of the business as the role is essential in maintaining the high standards expected across the Bee Network.,

  • As a Performance Supervisor you will monitor live service performance across the routes at your local depot in accordance with route control strategies.
  • Make live interventions and adjustments to service operations to ensure delivery targets are met.
  • Coordinate with the Depot Supervisors and TfGM control centre to address and resolve issues promptly.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between all stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency.
  • As a Performance Supervisor you will also provide feedback and recommendations to the Network Performance Team Leader to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Build a strong rapport with drivers, providing support and guidance whilst they are on the road.

    Previous experience in a public transport operations or control room environment.
  • Strong understanding of Greater Manchester's transport network and geography, including the Bee Network.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and personal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.

    Metroline Manchester is a recently formed subsidiary of ComfortDelGro, in March 2024 we were awarded contracts to operate four franchises and join the Bee Network in Greater Manchester by Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA).
