Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Band 6/7 Neuro-Physiotherapist to join our highly developed inter-disciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced clinical reasoning ability and developed skills in providing high quality direct clinical care, holistic assessment, treatment, review and management of clients with physical, cognitive and psychological impairments as a result of acquired brain injury. Individuals working with us will benefit from ongoing professional development opportunities. You will be supported by the Physiotherapy Lead and funded to pursue skill based/academic CPD programmes and regular opportunities to participate in in-service training.

- Career development opportunities within an organisation that promotes autonomy, MDT working and an holistic interdisciplinary approach to practice, The post holder will use evidence based/client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate specialist Physiotherapy programmes for a complex caseload of adults with acquired brain injury. This includes treating those with severe physical, cognitive and behavioural impairments and disabilities. They will provide Physiotherapy in client's homes, in the community and our outpatient facility to facilitate maximum community re-integration. You will need to demonstrate clinical reasoning skills in evaluating, analysing and comparing a range of therapy options in relation to clinical outcomes and treat and progress client care to maximise rehabilitation potential. You will liaise with other specialist services as required and facilitate and plan safe discharges in conjunction with the MDT/appropriate agencies. The successful candidate will have post graduate experience in inpatient or community neurorehabilitation and be a car driver.

We provide services in our inpatient service and community settings providing a good case mix to work with and develop a wider range of skills.
