Full Job Description
A fixed term opportunity for three months has arisen within the Neurodevelopment (ND) Team for an experienced practitioner to be part of the assessment service for children and young people with neuro-diverse presentations. The role requires confidence in assessment skills, decision making and multi-disciplinary working.
The practitioner will be part of the multidisciplinary approach to assessment and will support and be supported by the team. They will attend a weekly MDT to support the assessment process.
An understanding of the ND Profiling Tool (Portsmouth), ND assessment process, Putting Things Right (PTR) complaints procedures and supervision support skills will be desirable. The ND service is currently in the process of transition and change, an understanding of change management, team building, and compassionate leadership are qualities that will provide support to the team
Part time hours will be considered.
This post is fixed term until 31 March 2025 to cover service needs., As a member of the Neuro-Developmental (ND) service, the post holder will support the development of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team delivering evidence based assessments and interventions in line with national guidelines related to ND disorders and raise awareness inclusive of providing training across agencies. The post holder will contribute to the MDT ND assessments and support family's pre and post diagnosis and work with families with ND disorders.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
