Full Job Description

There will be opportunities to be involved in ongoing service development and research to ensure that services are accessible and meet the needs of the communities we work with. As the provider of our local NHS pathway, we work closely with commissioners and stakeholders across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Liaison with these networks will be a key part of the role, offering an important opportunity to be at the forefront of the development of local policy and provision.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated team member to play a key part in furthering our work to provide outstanding multi-disciplinary assessment and care for neurodivergent children and adults., Applications are invited from qualified and experienced professionals working in Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Learning Disability Nursing, Social Work and Psychology services.

The successful applicant will have a thorough knowledge of Autism, ADHD, Neurodiversity and Learning Disabilities as well as experience of contributing towards multi-disciplinary assessment and support of neurodivergent children, young people and adults.

They will be motivated, compassionate, and adaptable in their approach. The ability to work flexibly, and to support thoughtful and reflective practice within the team is essential. They will be able to establish positive working relationships with a wide variety of individuals and groups, and will value acceptance and inclusivity.

The Family Psychologist is a multidisciplinary assessment and support clinic, working to provide a unique and varied mix of mental health, neurodiversity, and educational support across the Midlands and the UK.
