Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a part time Neurofibromatosis Specialist Adviser. We are looking for a caring specialist nurse, with experience of working with neurofibromatosis type 1 and type 2, to work with individuals and families affected by these conditions in the West Midlands., The role is focused on providing support, information and advice for individuals and families with (or at risk of) neurofibromatosis.

The post holder will work alongside the existing NF Specialist Adviser and work closely with the Consultant Clinical Geneticists specialising in these conditions.

The post will be based at Birmingham Women's Hospital but appointments will take place in a combination of clinic venues, schools and patients' homes and flexibility to travel to these will be a vital part of the role.
