Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly created Unit Manager, within the Neurology Day Case Unit at UHCW.

The Day Case Unit supports patients receiving Disease Modifying Treatments for Multiple Sclerosis.

The unit is currently open Monday to Friday but the successful applicant will be involved in further development of the service to include hours of operation and drug therapies offered and will work closely and collaboratively with the wider MS Team, A high profile, accessible and responsive leader with clinical, staff and service who is able to make informed decisions within their own area and scope of professional practice, involving patients and public to ensure agreed standards, objectives and targets are met. The leader should be able to provide exceptional treatment and care to patients throughout their critical illness. Overall responsibility for the management of the clinical area, providing clear clinical leadership on the unit, ensuring the delivery of high quality patient care, ability to set, monitor and maintain standards and effectively utilises resources without direct supervision.
