Neurophysiology Service Support Manager

The post is full time, based in Neurophysiology and may be patient facing at times. You will play a key role in the smooth running of the department, managing diaries, organising meetings and managing your administrative team in a visible and flexible way.,

• Manage all administrate functions pertaining to the service support manager role
• Communicate with senior managers
• All aspects of team management; health roster, sick leave, etc.
• Training of staff in your team
• Effective management of the inpatient and outpatient pathways
• Be flexible in your approach to work, such as covering other job roles within your team, The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
  
  You will need to be very organised and have excellent communication skills., GCSE English Language & Maths or equivalent
• Knowledge of administrative procedures and computerised software (Computer Keyboard Literate)
• Management experience - track record of influencing and engaging staff
• Organisation skills.
• Working in a busy environment - flexible and able to multitask
• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
Desirable criteria
• Working within the NHS
• Knowledge of the outpatient and inpatient pathways within the NHS (including RTT and DMO1 targets)
