Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Neurosurgery team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as an Neurosurgery Apprentice. In this role, you will support the team with a variety of tasks, including clinic bookings, preparation for Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings, planning patient admissions, and responding to patient queries via telephone and the mailbox., As a Neurosurgery Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Neurosurgery team in delivering high-quality patient care and services. This apprenticeship provides hands-on experience of the essential administrative tasks within the Neurosurgery Department. The post holder will be part of the multidisciplinary neurosurgical teams, offering administrative support to ensure the effective delivery of clinical services. This will include, but is not limited to patient telephone communication, booking appointments, arranging admissions and preparing multidisciplinary team meetings. This Apprenticeship is supported by senior medical professionals and management, enabling them to learn, develop and build a strong foundation for a career in NHS administration.
