Full Job Description

We'reseeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Manager with a deeplove for food and a strong background in the hospitality industry. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securingkey accounts, driving sales growth, and building long-termrelationships with our clients. Your ability to understand clientneeds, coupled with your passion for food, will be key indelivering tailored solutions that exceedexpectations. Roleresponsibility & KeyAccountabilities :

  • Towin Commercial new business, with customers whose food spend isbetween £300,000 to £2m per year, via active prospecting and bymanaging a pipeline of prospectopportunities.
  • To build cross functionalrelationships with prospect customers on your pipeline so that theysee Brakes as their next supply partner and approach you whenlooking to review suppliers.
  • Achieve and exceedsales and margin targets in line with the National Account NewBusiness budget.
  • To liaise and influence yourcross functional matrix team colleagues to deliver high qualitytender submissions within the guidelines of the approvals andprocedures process in place
  • To work with thenew business implementation team and lead the launch of newbusiness wins.
  • To work within the wider UKgroup to identify joint opportunities for securing newcustomers
  • To be a proactive member of theNational Account team by assisting development of business goals,objectives and strategic initiatives, and supporting colleagues asrequired.

You will be resilient accepting and learning frommistakes and building future solutions.   • Provenexperience in a new business development or national account role,with a successful track record in winning in multiple sectors andtender management
  • Superb customer relationshipand rapport-building skills.
  • Excellentcommunication skills, both internally andexternally.
  • High level of structured solutionselling and negotiation skills
  • Good commercialacumen and knowledge of the key profitlevers
  • Results driven
  • Goodknowledge of the Brakes business and the Hospitality / Cateringmarketplace
  • High energy levels and the abilityto perform in a fast-moving and pressured environment and deliverto tight deadlines
  • Proficient with allaspects of technology when building presentations and evaluatingtenders using powerpoint andexcel
